THE INTENTIONAL INITIATIVE
“GETTING STARTED, STAYING STRONG AND GETTING IT DONE”
The Annie E. Hunt Women’s Missionary Society is a vital Ministry of the Connectional African Methodist Episcopal Church. We participate in all the Connectional, District, Conference and Local Ministry Projects and Stewardship Initiatives. To mention a few every 5thSunday we participate in the Devotional part of the service. We meet on the 1stSaturday of the month. We collected and donated over 700 pairs of socks to Homeless Shelters and group homes. We made pillowcase dresses and donated to children in Haiti. Cooked a meal for Women staying in a Shelter with their children, for Mother’s Day and took toiletries and toys for the children.
As traveling Missionaries, we donate toiletries and snacks to the Students at Paul Quinn College in Dallas, every summer for the students who do not go home. We are also affiliated with Church Women United of Bexar County, where we also do outreach at Easter, we donate funds to purchase Shoes and Easter baskets for Children of Incarcerated Parent at Christmas, we donate toys and prepare a gift bag for these children from age 0 - 18. We partner with the Health Ministry outreach projects also.
Please feel free to attend a meeting to see if this Ministry is for you. We will be Intentionally praying and looking for you. All are invited. You may also speak with any Missionary for further information.
